Train-the-Trainer: Construction Forklifts

In this 4-hour trainer workshop, employers’ attendees will receive a complete in-house qualification program and training on how to implement. Participants will become authorized as in-house instructors to teach rules/regulations on how to properly inspect and operate class 1, 4, 5 & 7 forklift trucks (including tele-handers or reach trucks). This program will assist employers in complying with the Federal Law requiring qualified forklift operators in your facilities and/or on the job site.
• Demonstrate basic safety rules when utilizing forklift trucks.
• Recognize potential work site operation hazards and outline how to take appropriate actions during equipment use.
• Describe the required daily visual work site inspection components and criteria.
• Identify ratings and proper use of forklift trucks per laws and regulations.
