Project Description

Woodberry Forest School is an academic institution and residential community for young men situated in the foothills of Central Virginia. The Board of Trustees of Woodberry Forest School under the direction of the architectural firm Bartzen and Ball, PLLC envisioned the creation of a mini dormitory.

Terry House was designed to compliment the surrounding dormitories; the building's exterior is in a Flemish Bond pattern, the recessed accent bands and water tables create exceptional reveals. Blending the new dormitory to the existing landscape are the courtyards, site retaining walls and sidewalks which were laid in combination patterns.
