Ian Blair
Ian spent 30 years as CEO and majority shareholder of a group of companies in Canada and the United States. These multi-million dollar businesses ranged from a tourist sector transportation business to a publishing start-up and several businesses substantially in the construction sector and real estate development. This group of companies employed several hundred people at any given time. Ian feels the success of these enterprises is solely based on an organizational culture that empowers the team members to be creative. Ian completed his degree in economics at Laurentian University. He is an avid reader and writer of business and organizational subjects. He continues to be a competitive cross- country skier and recently competed in World Masters Championships.
