1.5-ton Compact Excavator
Bobcat
West Fargo, N.D.
The Bobcat 324 compact excavator reaches farther, digs deeper and dumps higher. The 324 excavator is a Conventional Tail Swing unit in the 1.5-ton operating class. Its boom cylinder is attached to the top of the boom, instead of the bottom, giving it more protection from damage while digging. It also features a lighter weight, yet durable, boom fabrication with cast pivot joints. As a result, the 324 offers a maximum dig depth of eight feet, six inches; reach at ground level of 14 feet; and dump height clearance of eight feet, eight inches, all of which are best in class.

Belt-Drive Cold Pressure Washer
Steam Jenny
Somerset, Pa.
Steam Jenny has four new models of belt-drive cold pressure washers, which provide a longer pump life than direct-drive units. The extended service life is due to the pulley system, which turns the pump significantly slower than if the pump was coupled with the engine crankshaft. Additionally, the belt absorbs engine vibration and allows the pump to be located farther away from the engine heat. The pressure washers are powered by nine- or 13-horsepower Honda GX Series engines, and all models feature a triplex ceramic plunger pump for years of service with little maintenance. They are available with pressure ratings between 3,000 and 4,000 psi, and flow rates vary between 3 and 4 gpm. A customizable option allows customers to choose a unit with pressure and flow ratings based on their specific needs.
