The North Carolina Masonry Contractors Association hosted the Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) Masonry Quality Institute two-day class on Thursday, August 1 and Friday, August 2, 2013 at McGee Brothers Company in Greensboro, N.C.

The Masonry Quality Institute (MQI) is a two-day course that assists masons in evaluating their services, meeting stringent customer expectations, and improving their profitability. The class details the basic principles of quality and standards and how each can be applied to current business styles. This course uses participant interaction, team building and industry examples to learn about better business practices. The course emphasizes leadership and how to motivate your employees while using the team to their best advantage.

Nineteen individuals working on their personal certification in the North Carolina Masonry Contractors Association and/or in the Mason Contractors Association of America Certification Program attended the seminar.
