With the winter season approaching, masons need to understand the impact of moisture on masonry projects and the latest advancements for combating this age-old problem.

Attendees to this session will learn:

  • The importance of flashing and other proper masonry installation strategies to manage moisture in a masonry wall
  • The advantages of complete masonry systems that mitigate water penetration and provide backup moisture management
  • The latest on water repellent admixture advances and uses in concrete block and mortar that help control moisture and meet green building codes
  • How to specify a masonry solution that delivers superior moisture control and an environmentally sound structure
Mason contractors registered for Masonry Certification will receive 1.00 credits in the Masonry Products discipline upon completion of this course.
